For the fourth year in a row, FORA.tv’s production team, lead by Bob Appel, produced the NYU Stern Launch.
Each year NYU welcomes hundreds of incoming full-time MBA students with a orientation that covers workshops, seminars and lectures from leading speakers. The orientation also includes extracurricular activities such as a ferry ride to Ellis Island, as well as, a formal gala dinner.
This year marks the fourth year that FORA.tv has supported the event. In 2014 we filmed all the presentations in the Polson Theater, block classroom workshops, and captured activities that students participated in.
FORA.tv provides an onsite editor who creates daily highlight videos and other snippets of content that are played in the venue for students to view. The content is produced onsite and posted for viewing within 24 hours. Overall our goals is to help build the student community and provide recaps of the event for additional team building.
Our service is made complete by providing still photography by Jay Blakesberg. The overall production is a four camera directed, live stream that is displayed privately to spillover rooms, in addition to desktop and mobile devices of select online attendees.
We are looking forward to continuing our partnership with NYU Stern Launch in years to come!
