This is a great point to raise, especially in light of the fact that it is possible to reverse diabetes without drugs using diet alone. There's a well-known physician named Dr. Joel Fuhrman who has documented numerous cases of patients no longer needing medication at all--but it takes commitment (info available on the web) The benefits are multi-fold, the costs low (compared to drugs) and the side-effects non-existent. Here's the problem: no one makes any money at it besides farmers and grocers--not even the doctors. How to address this core issue: certain markets thrive and to a certain extent are dependent on ill health. How to change this?

Rupert Murdoch (and News Corp) simply does not understand how the Internet works. He seems to have a particular thing against Google, dating back long before SOPA/PIPA. Selling ads around search results... so what?

Murdoch resents not having got there first, that Google is ahead of the game and News Corp are losing out in the competitive world of news and online media.

Steve Jobs changed the entire world with his visionary
outset and revamping of wireless media and communications. He’ll be a name which rings out through
history for evolving the way we live, share and communicate. I was compelled to create a portrait of him,
now In Memoriam on my artist’s blog at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2011/08/end-of-era-steve-jobs.html

“For me happiness occurs arbitrarily: a moment of eye contact on a bus, where all at once you fall in love; or a frozen second in a park where it's enough that there are trees in the world.” Russel Brand. Brand, genius in my eyes, his use of language brings new education to comedy (and at times is purely poetic, without humor). in the UK we say some has the 'gift of the gab', a way with words, if you will. Brand can certainly claim this attribute. though, personally i believe that he is better non scripted, live, and although i do enjoy his movies, his stand up show's stand out for me. what do others think, Brand live or scripted? Becky, England
