The George Washington University Presents “Out of Time: An American Crisis”

What happens when a bunch of very smart people get together in one room and try to solve the greatest problems facing America? That’s precisely what we will find out today at 7 p.m. (Eastern) when The George Washington University presents Out of Time: An American Crisis.

Former senators Fred Thompson and Robert Bennett, House members Donna Edwards and Scott Rigell, former HP CEO Carly Fiorina and others will be forced to think beyond abstract policy and strategy. Faced with a number of real-world challenges, they will work to get America’s fiscal house in order, making tough decisions about what the country can and can’t afford.

This event will feature a new social integration experience, made possible by a partnership between FORA.tv and Bumebox. The technology lets viewers tweet directly from FORA.tv’s livestream player–easily sharing their thoughts without missing a moment of the event.
