This Week on FORA.tv: Washington Ideas Forum 2012

As President Obama begins his second term in office, his administration, Congress as well as public and private sector leaders face a number of short- and long-term challenges — the most pressing, the looming fiscal cliff and how to fix the nation’s tepid economic growth.

The fourth annual Washington Ideas Forum will tackle these issues and explore other topics such as disruptive technologies, education in the 21st century, and the current state of American healthcare in discussions with the country’s most influential newsmakers. Scheduled to join the Forum stage this year include Senators Amy Klobuchar, Lindsey Graham and Marco Rubio, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Israeli Minister of Defense Ehud Barak, and many more.

The following clip from last year’s Washington Ideas Forum features NBC host Chris Matthews speaking on the difference between the nation’s two major political parties.
