Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney has found himself on the wrong side of the political debate after a fundraising video was released, in which Romney said that 47 percent of Americans are unlikely to vote for him because they “pay no income tax” and are “dependent upon government.” Those voters, he said, would probably support President Obama because they believe they are “victims” who are “entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you name it.”
Last year New York Times columnist Gail Collins may have called it right: The more Romney talks, the more people dislike him. ”He’s just a naturally irritating guy.”
