What is the very nature of the self? Can it be reduced down to a complicated map of neural connections, a body of cells and bacteria? Or is it a mystery, beyond thought and words?
Those are just some of the questions addressed at this year’s Science and Nonduality Conference (SAND), which will be streamed live on FORA.tv, October 25-28.
In its signature style, SAND brings together a unique group of scientists, philosophers, spiritual gurus and mystics who attempt to bridge the gap between the rational and the scientific and the mystical and unknowable. They will explore how our sense of a separate self may be leading to a perpetual state of anxiety, scarcity, fear, and dissatisfaction, holding us back from becoming who we were meant to be.
