New Yorker Festival 2012 Presents Lena Dunham and Her Girls

For the past three years, FORA.tv has hosted the live and on-demand portion of one of the best cultural events in the country, the New Yorker Festival. Like its predecessors, this year’s 2012 program, October 5 through 7, features the magazine’s heavyweight thinks, such as Malcolm Gladwell and Rebecca Mead, as well as writers, artists, politicians and humorist who have had a significant impact on American culture in the last 12 months.

Fitting the bill perfectly is Lena Dunham, the creator behind the hit HBO Series, Girls. This year she was nominated for four Emmy Awards for the humorous series that picks apart the sex and love lives of four young New York women. In 2010 Dunham also received critical acclaim for her independent film Tiny Furniture.

At the New Yorker Festival 2012 on October 7, FORA.tv will livestream her conversation with Emily Nussbaum, staff writer at the New Yorker magazine.
