One of the iconic images of the first Star Wars movie is Luke racing across his home planet, Tatooine, in a hover craft. If all goes according to plan, we could buy something similar by 2014. Via BuzzFeed, a company called Aerofex is developing a hover craft that can respond to a pilot’s natural sense of balance (think Segway ) and can travel at 30 mph, hovering 15 feet above the ground.
