Could Vice President Joseph Biden be out of a job come this summer? It’s possible, according to former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown. Known for his outspoken personality, Brown took the stage at a Commonwealth Club event back in May and emphatically told attendees that President Obama could add Hillary Clinton to the ticket, and perhaps name Biden to be his Secretary of State, before the 2012 election.

While it’s still a highly unlikely scenario, political wonks in Washington on both sides of the aisle can’t help but speculate on such a switch, especially if a weak economy or even the potential of an October surprise start to create concern within the Obama campaign.
