Find out what’s ahead this week on FORA.tv.
Facebook’s highly anticipated IPO opened last month with a fizzle rather bang, and has limped along ever since with several large investors considering options on how to recoup their losses. On another front, Facebook has had to defend the effectiveness of its advertising model, after several reports emerged their platform doesn’t create a return on investments.
This week, FORA.tv will feature two events that discuss Facebook, including its IPO and how other brands effectively use the social network as a marketing platform. Join us on June 13 for a Paley Center for Media event titled The Facebook IPO Effect: A Conversation with Alan Patricof and David Kirkpatrick. Then, on June 14, L2 Clinic presents Facebook, In Depth hosted by NYU Stern School of Business.
Also this week, the Asia Society presents the 2012 Diversity and Leadership Forum, which will discuss the role of Asian-Americans in the talent and consumer marketplace. Finally, watch another Paley Center for Media event on its series, Next Big Thing, which will discuss one of the world’s capitals for finance, entertainment and culture, New York City.
