It’s difficult to see what impact humans are having on Earth unless you have a satellite view. A new app called Fragile Earth “gives a bird’s-eye view of natural and man-made locations from around the world as they undergo dramatic changes through climate change, urbanization and nature’s raw power.”
With just a quick finger swipe, you can reveal images of an area (say the Amazon rainforest) before, during and after it has changed, sometimes going as far back in history as 1914.
