As Facebook gears up for what is expected to be one of the biggest IPOs of all time, it’s worth noting that companies like Facebook and Google can suffer from the hype of trendiness. In his best-selling book, The Innovator’s Dilemma, Harvard professor Clayton Christensen broke new ground when he detailed how a disruptive innovation can start small, grow big, and displace the world’s largest enterprises.
