We mark the end of our Top 10 FORA.tv Videos of 2011 on a bittersweet note. On December 15, Christopher Hitchens passed away after a long battle with cancer. “Hitch,” as he was affectionately referred to by colleages and friends, left behind a legacy of writings and media that cement his status as one of the great intellectuals of his generation, or of any generation for that matter. FORA.tv maintains a video library of his best works and some of the tributes paid to him by other men and women of letters, titled “The World According to Christopher Hitchens,” all of which we chose for our videos of the year.
